IN 2021, COLORADO STONE QUARRIES OPENED THEIR OWN MARBLE Slabbing FACTORY IN DELTA COUNTY, COLORADO: utilizing THE BEST ITALIAN MACHINERY AND TECHNOLOGY.
In 2021, Colorado Stone Quarries opened their own Marble Slabbing facility, approximately one hundred years after the original mill in Marble started processing the columns for the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. Our state-of-the-art factory extends over 40 acres. A warehouse of approximately 140,000 square feet hosts the best Italian technology and machinery to cut and finish our blocks. Here they will be processed into slabs, tiles and cut-to-size blocks.

Our plant uses a water treatment system that allow us to work in a closed loop system by recycling and reducing our water consumption.
BEST DOMESTIC
WHITE MARBLE
A new process line meant to consolidate and seal our Colorado marble will improve confidence in using the best domestic white marble for various applications and projects. Colorado Stone Quarries will also cut blocks from our sister company Vermont Quarries – Danby marble – to better serve and distribute their colors into tiles.

the consolidation of Natural Stones
The increase of the mechanical strength of the SOUNDSTONE® treated stones is checked through the measurement of the dynamic modulus of elasticity before and after the consolidation, according to the standard UNI EN 14146 and ASTM E 1876.
SOUNDSTONE® does not contain resins and solvents, nor it produces smokes dangerous to the human organism and to the environment.
